Ford to sell more than 30K vehicles in China

NEW YORK, June 16 (Reuters) – Ford Motor Co said on Monday it plans to sell more than 30,000 North American-built vehicles in China beginning in 2009, in an export agreement estimated at more than $800 million.
The automaker said it would also begin supplying transmission components and parts this year to its passenger car joint venture in China, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co Ltd.
