Taiwan stocks slide 1.81 pct to hit 4-month low

TAIPEI, June 20 (Reuters) – Taiwan stocks fell 1.81 percent to a four-month closing low on Friday, with heavyweight technology shares such as HTC <2498.TW> and TSMC <2330.TW> down as inflation worries hamper domestic exporters.
The main TAIEX share index <.TWII> dropped 145.30 points to end at 7,902.44, continuing a sell-off that has seen it shed 15 percent in the past one month.
The electronics sub-index <.TELI> lost 1.07 percent, while the bank and insurance sub-index <.TFNI> dropped 1.8 percent.
