A leading provider of outsourced engineering services and manufacturing, QuEST, announced setting up of a dedicated sheet metal fabricator facility for aerospace in Karnataka. The facility would support engine and structural sheet metal forming and would be set up in Belgaum, in close proximity to machining and special processing. QuEST Manufacturing, the wholly owned subsidiary of QuEST is setting up this facility in its 300-acre SEZ in Belgaum. Informing about the facility Aravind Melligeri, chairman & co-founder, QuEST, said, ”Setting up of the sheet metal processing facility will definitely enable QuEST and our customers in graduating towards integrated sourcing and assemblies. It reiterates our commitment to set up an ecosystem for the supply chain catering to global aerospace industry requirement.” Phase I of the facility would consist of brake forming, hydro forming/fluid forming, heat treatment for aluminium and sheet metal cutting.
