LINPAC Packaging, a division of the UK-based packaging & supply chain specialist LINPAC Group Ltd, recently set up its first factory in the Jiangsu province of China. In fact, it is its first manufacturing site in the whole of Asia. This facility has two extrusion lines for the large-scale production of PVC stretch wrap, which will be used for food packaging. Further, this facility has been purpose-built on a 20,000 sq m site, with a capacity extension of 50,000 sq m.
The new Chinese factory reinforces LINPAC’s global presence and continues the company’s rapid development in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mike Arrowsmith, CEO, LINPAC Group said, ”The new facility will allow us to accelerate our development in China and throughout the Asia-Pacific area. LINPAC’s aim is to deliver the same high-quality packaging materials and efficient service to our customers in Asia that we provide elsewhere in the world, Our focus is on providing creative, tailored packaging solutions that add value for our customers.”
