Japan July core machinery orders -3.9 pct m/m

TOKYO, Sept 11 - Japan’s core private-sector machinery orders, a key gauge of corporate capital spending, fell 3.9 percent in July from the previous month, a slightly smaller fall than a median market forecast of a 4.3 percent drop, government data showed on Thursday. [JPMORD=ECI]
Compared with a year earlier, orders in July decreased 4.7 percent, against a consensus forecast of a 5.1 percent decline.
