WUHAN, Central China, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) — Hefei fencer Jiao Yunlong single-handedly helped his team to capture the epee gold at Chinese City Games on Tuesday.

Producing 26 hits in his nine-minute performance, Jiao was hailed as the hero of Hefei epee team in their 45-34 win over Shenyang.

Pudong took the bronze medal, beating Ma’anshan in the third-place match 45-31.

Jiao took the forth place in individual epee competition four days ago.
