First eight preliminary matches complete in Women’s Team Epee

(BEIJING, April 19) — The Women’s Team Epee is taking place today in the FIE World Championships in Beijing, China. Earlier in the day, China beat Sweden (45-41), Hungary beat Estonia (33-15), Russia beat the USA (45-35), Romania beat Canada (45-34), Germany beat Japan (45-38), Ukraine beat Poland (45-39) and France beat Hong Kong (43-26) to advance to the next round. The next four preliminary matches are scheduled to begin at 11:50 a.m.
