(BEIJING, December 12) — The 2007 ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals are to begin on December 13, 2007. The Chinese table tennis team first entered the Peking University Gymnasium to prepare for the competition.

The Grand Finals attract the 32 top players in the world.

The Chinese team sent all their major players to compete in the ITTF Pro Tour. They have begun training in the venue to adjust to the environment. In order to reduce stress resulting from travel, they have checked in to the hotels beside the venue.

Zhang Yining noted that as table tennis competitions were previously just held in indoor courts usually used for basketball or volleyball, the special Peking University Gymnasium dedicated specifically for table tennis events felt a lot smaller.
